Spring Cleaning Time

Springtime is a time for renewal, regrowth, and rejuvenation. During this time a year the weather feels amazing, nature begins to bloom and flowers begin to blossom and life appears to feel beautiful, brighter, and more energized. I love this time of year! How about you?

This is a great time of year to organize your life, home, office, car, etc. It's your choice to either purge, recycle, or give to charity items that you no longer need or use.

Gently worn clothes can be given away to those that may want or need them. Be honest with yourself! Do you need it? Then keep it! Do you love it? Then it stays! Do you like it? Does it look okay on you? Perhaps it's time to part ways. You want to look and feel great not okay. Just saying! Is it old or torn? Throw it out! Missing pieces like zippers and buttons? Are you really going to get it fixed? If so, do it! If not, maybe its next home is in the garbage.

What's your pantry looking like these days? Go through it and get rid of expired items. Also, if you haven't eaten it in a long time and you won't see it in on your plate in the near future, perhaps give it to charity.

How about your fridge and freezer? Go through that too.

Office? Closets? Drawers? Car and trunk? Sacred space? One thing at a time, one day at a time, one drawer at a time. No need to overwhelm yourself. It didn't happen over night, so don't stress about going through everything all at once. If you can, awesome for you! If not, take your time and do it right. Enjoy it! Play music, have a cup of coffee or tea, wine and maybe allow yourself the freedom to go at your own pace.

Redecorate a room or paint it. We are constantly changing, growing, and transforming, so allow your surroundings to evolve with you. Have fun with it!

Organize, purge, recycle, and/or give it away. Let go of the old and make room for the new.
